Diana Carolina, CEO and Founder of sandal company Azzurra Capri, will be opening her first flagship boutique in Little Italy, San Diego. San Diego, CA, Feb 28, 2014 — Azzurra Capri will open its first flagship boutique in the Little Italy neighborhood of downtown San Diego with a grand opening event set for Thursday, March 6. The store will feature owner and designer Diana Carolina’s line of signature Italian handmade leather sandals trademarked with certified Swarovski crystals. The luxury brand enjoys international acclaim with a presence in Dubai, Qatar, Mexico and the Caribbean. Azzurra Capri’s national presence includes Miami and Los Angeles, specifically, the stylehaüs boutique located in Beverly Hills’ The Grove.
“It was the next logical step for Azzurra Capri,” says Diana, CEO and Founder at Azzurra Capri. “We want to create an atmosphere for women where they can experience the essence of the brand...the glamor and lifestyle of our sandals.”
Aside from exuding elegance, Diana plans on making the boutique unique for the experience it provides as much as the fashion. Shoppers visiting the Azzurra Capri Boutique can expect equal parts style, warmth and pampering, with a red carpet treatment including a complimentary stylist consultation, a comprehensive wardrobe assessment, private viewings and much more. In addition to sandals, the store will feature other resort-inspired fashion and trunk shows from designers including Terracotta New York, Ocnarf Sairutsa, and Hokise Jewelry.
“My vision is for Azzura Capri to be an elegant boutique that will make women feel at home while playing dress up,” Diana explains. “It's for any woman who is looking for an experience, a lifestyle, not just a typical store."
Like the logo of the label, the boutique’s color scheme will be blue and white. “My inspiration for the boutique is the beautiful Italian Isle of Capri –” says Diana, “the peace and tranquility of an elegant resort town surrounded by an azure ocean.”
The boutique’s grand opening is set for Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at 1840 Columbia Street in the Little Italy neighborhood of downtown San Diego. The event, covered by Riviera San Diego magazine, will feature lively music, Capri-inspired hors d’oeuvres and generous giveaways.
