Hello ladies! Today's topic is about being casual. This can sometimes be tied to the idea of minimalism.
Minimalistic fashion is wearing simple pieces that become staples themselves. This could be a t-shirt, jeans, a coat, etc. The key is that the designs of the pieces are simple and clean with little to no graphics on the garment. When you pair this idea with a vintage touch such as faded color or distress rips, this can create an urban feel.
Dressing casual can sometimes be seen as dressing down. However, this isn't always the case. Especially when you combine two elements such as simplicity and vintage. Cotton Citizen does the perfect example of what means to be casual but cool. This is for the times where we just don't want to put on that dress for whatever event. We just want to wear our favorite comfortable t-shirt, but still look completely put together. Maybe you're the girl who enjoys having a night in, and have made an effort to look presentable even while at home binge watching your favorite shows. Looking cute doesn't have to be uncomfortable or fancy.
Sometimes, less is more.
